A sorority sister of mine has gone through the unimaginable. Brie has endured amputations on all four limbs after giving birth to a strong baby boy named Beau at 27 weeks. This journey is not what they expected and has been so heavy on my heart and the hearts of thousands of people following her story.
I created Babs&Bird as a way to spread joy through art. After brainstorming with a couple of sorority sisters on what we could make, we came to the idea of a simple stationery set with an arrow on it - a nod to "Beau" (bow and arrow) and the symbol of our sorority, Pi Beta Phi. All proceeds from these cards will go back to Brie and her family.
Although this is such a small thing, my hope is this stationery continues to show Brie how much love there is for the Bauer family and be a reminder that we are all here to support them.
