This past summer, I painted flowers for a dear friend of ours, Cindy "Lulu" Stehl, as she battled ovarian cancer. She had a thing for flowers, an infectious laugh, a love of life, and a beautiful family that she raised with her husband, Doug. Cindy passed this fall, but I had told her I would make the flowers into stationery and all the proceeds would be donated to a charity of her choice.
My heart is beyond full as we have raised $500 for their family to donate in memory of Cindy.
Getting to make my passion for art and painting a side hustle is a dream come true, but what makes the dream so much sweeter, is being able to help others in the process. I am touched by the outpouring of love and support for this little brand and so very proud to be able to positively impact the lives of others even if in a small way.
