Sending love in the mail... Letters Against Isolation

Our crew has been home sick quite a bit this month and I've been thinking of projects we can do together that can bring joy to others outside of our little playroom.

I found an organization called "Letters Against Isolation" that identifies elders (through nursing homes, Meals on Wheels, Hospice, etc) that could benefit from some heartfelt mail. This organization identifies about 10k people to send mail to each month and after applying to be a letter writer, you have the opportunity to select the number of letters you want to write and send by the determined mailing date. This is our first month doing it and we chose 9 people in a nursing home in Kansas. The boys and I have truly enjoyed spending time together coloring and painting pictures while I used some of my Babs&Bird stationery to hopefully spread joy through art.

Sharing a few links to the cards I used for anyone that has interest as well! If you're buying cards for this purpose, please let me know - I'd love to offer you a discount code!
