Over the years, I have leaned on art to find balance. In the early morning or during the boys quiet nap hours, I find my way to my favorite chair and begin to think through all of the wonderful people in my life. I think of those going through a change in their life, an exciting time, or possibly a challenging time who might benefit from a little love in the mail.
I would find myself wanting to paint something for everyone but rarely had the time to create everything I wanted to while balancing work, family, and everyday life. Babs&Bird is giving everyone that approachable, thoughtful stationery, that shows the ones they love they are on their mind in an intentional way.
My hope with starting Babs&Bird is that it helps spread joy through art. Perhaps this is through the art and stationery I've created but maybe it is also the inspiration of sitting back and thinking of the ones you love and being intentional in showing you care.
